This document constitutes a binding legal agreement governing the use of the WordBlockz application across web and mobile deployments. WordBlockz is owned and operated by its independent developers (referred to herein as "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing, installing, or interacting with WordBlockz, you express consent to these terms.

PART 1: PRIVACY POLICY

This policy details our alignment with international privacy benchmarks, including the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) outlined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Google Play Developer Policies.

1.1 Collection of Personal Data

While standard gameplay operates securely on your local device without data transmission, specific optional features require data collection to function:

Google Sign-In & Accounts: If you choose to link an account to save your "Ad-Free" premium status, we collect your email address and a secure Google User ID to sync your status across devices.
Leaderboards: When you submit a score, the custom username you manually type is saved publicly to our database alongside your score and timestamp.
Premium Purchases: For web purchases via PayPal, we store the transaction Order ID and associated PayPal email strictly for verification and support. We never process or store your credit card numbers.

1.2 Local Storage Mechanics

To retain game functionality, structural records are maintained locally on your hardware storage via standard web-browser cache configurations (Local Storage). This tracking records:

Current active daily game state matrix configurations.
Historic game scoring analytics, personal high-score benchmarks, and streak milestones.
Local validation variables assessing application settings and premium states.

Note on Erasure: Clearing your device's browser cache data or local application sandbox storage removes local statistics. Your Premium ad-free status can be recovered by logging back into your connected Google account via the Settings menu.

1.3 Third-Party Frameworks & System Integration

External data transactions are strictly constrained to the following parameters:

Google Firebase: Hosts our database and manages secure authentication for cross-device syncing of your account status.
Monetag: Serves advertisements to non-premium players on web platforms.
Dictionary File Validation: The game fetches dictionary records from external open-source repositories to verify spelling structures.
Payment Processors: We leverage the Google Play Billing API natively on Android systems, and the PayPal SDK for web browsers, to securely process payments for ad removal.

1.4 International Data Rights (GDPR & APP Compliance)

Rights regarding access, porting, adjustment, or systemic deletion (the "Right to be Forgotten") are fully actionable. You may request a complete wipe of your connected Google Sign-In data, transaction history, or leaderboard scores using the form below.

1.5 Child-Friendly Safeguards

To support safe, distraction-free environments, WordBlockz includes an optional "Child-Friendly Mode". When activated, this mode algorithmically suppresses all outbound social sharing pathways, clipboard interactions, advertising network scripts, and financial interfaces (including external payment gateways). Activation status is maintained strictly via local variables on the device.

1.6 Data Deletion Requests

If you wish to have your public leaderboard scores, linked email address, or transaction history permanently deleted from our database, please use the automated request portal below.

PART 2: TERMS AND CONDITIONS

2.1 License Grant & Restrictions

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable revocable license to interact with WordBlockz for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You expressly agree not to redistribute, decompile, deconstruct compilation frameworks, or programmatically exploit game dictionaries or mechanics using automation toolsets, bots, or third-party cheating scripts.

2.2 Premium Purchases (Ad Removal)

The application allows users to upgrade their experience through a permanent "Remove Ads" purchase. Financial transactions are handled exclusively via the Google Play Commerce network (for mobile app users) or PayPal (for web browser users).

Account Syncing Requirement: To ensure your web purchase carries over if you clear your browser cache or switch devices, web users are required to sign in with Google prior to initiating a transaction.
Refund Frameworks: Refund requests must navigate standard Google Play or PayPal customer support channels and are governed by their respective transactional policies.

2.3 Consumer Guarantees (Australian Consumer Law)

For players navigating our platform within Australia, our services carry statutory consumer protections that cannot be legally sidestepped under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). Nothing within these structural terms operates to restrict or modify standard statutory consumer rights covering system rendering, operational stability, or fundamental utility fit for purpose.

2.4 International Disclaimer & Limitations of Liability

Outside the boundaries of explicit statutory protections, WordBlockz is delivered "As-Is" and "As-Available". We disclaim all warranties, implied or explicit, regarding operational uptimes, temporary connectivity interruptions to external assets, or localized software storage preservation variables. To the maximum threshold permitted by law, we decline liability for any incidental, secondary, or hardware-specific damages linked to app utilization errors.

2.5 Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

These legal structures are governed and structured under the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any formal legal mediation, resolution frameworks, or legal disputes tied directly to app functionality fallback parameters will be addressed within the jurisdiction of courts in New South Wales.

2.6 Updates to Legal Documentation

We reserve absolute rights to amend this framework as international compliance mandates or local consumer laws change. Continued use of WordBlockz following published modifications constitutes binding acceptance of modified terms.
